OEM Part Manufacturing

Gray Iron (FC), Ductile Iron (FCD) & Steel

Foundry: Products

MHI have extensive knowledge in making gray iron (FC), ductile iron (FCD) and steel casting. Our medium frequency furnace is 3 metric ton. We accept OEM casting jobs from both domestic and international customers.

Currently we have two production lines, green sand and furan molding line. In our factory facility, we have our own machining and fabrication shop, where we make our own mold, pattern and jig & fixture.

The largest part we can produce is 3 metric ton. With extensive knowledge in various industrial field, we can help you find the best solution for your cast iron and steel casting needs. We can facilitate both small lot pilot production and mass production for any of your part manufacturing or outsourcing request.

GREEN SAND AUTOMATIC MOLDING LINE

Using bentonite as bonding agent to create sand mold. Best for producing smaller parts. Parts are generally less than 50-100 kg in weight and requires either no core or only simple core. Lower tooling cost when compared to other molding method.

FURAN RESIN SETTING MOLDING LINE

Furan resin is used to harden the sand mold. The parts produced with this procedure are generally from 50 kg up to several tons in weight. Suitable for large casting. Furan resin has the advantage of high sand mold compressive strength, good surface finishing and can be very suitable for medium to large casting.

LOST FOAM AUTOMATIC MOLDING LINE

In lost foam casting, the sand mold is made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) copy of the desired parts. The polystyrene copy then evaporates and replaced by metal during pouring. No core is required in the process. Lost foam method is ideal for medium-sized complicated parts with multiple hollow components and parts that usually require a large number of cores.

HEAT TREATMENT

We also have in-house heat treatment facility (such as carburizing, annealing , normalizing) that could improve the material properties of the casting parts.
