QUALITY CONTROL

In our quality control department we utilize optical emission spectrometry (OES) for fast and accurate measurement of iron and steel chemical composition. The spectrometer we use is the GNR S7 Metal Lab Plus. We are able to effectively control the quality of our raw material and final products.

Universal testing machine is utilized for material strength and elongation inspection and control. The machine maker is Taiwan's precision testing equipment manufacturer, Huang Ta Instrument. 

In Maesot Heavy Industries, we also have Mitutoyo hardness tester for hardness quality control to meet customer requirement.

We use inverted microscope to inspect the microstructure of the specimen.

Using the carbon sulfur analyzer we can control the carbon and sulfur content of our raw material, where sulfur is detrimental to ductile iron.
